Network and Resource Sharing

REN, in collaboration with HHS Ethics and Care Ecologies Program (PEaCE), has developed a number of resources, such as:

  • standardized ethics framework and ethics decision-making tools for both clinical and organizational ethics
  • structured approach to support meeting Accreditation Canada ethics-related standards
  • a series of Ethics FAQs that provide guidance for the most common ethical questions
  • “Health Ethics in Practice” educational series, consisting of on-line modules and in-person skills building training
  • a database to keep track of the type of issues regional partners face, including identification of trends that can inform decisions about structure of healthcare services
  • resources relevant to end-of-life care
  • resources related to medical assistance in dying
  • resources relevant to development and review of policies with significant ethics content
