Regional Ethics Network (REN) is housed within the Hamilton Health Science’s Office of Clinical & Organizational Ethics and was created in 2013. The current members include:
- Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS)
- Guelph General Hospital (GGH)
- Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS)
- Joseph Brant Hospital (JBH)
- Norfolk General Hospital (NGH)
- West Haldimand General Hospital (WHGH)
REN provides clinical and organizational ethics support to partner organizations. REN focuses on building capacity within all regional partners. In addition to providing clinical and organizational ethics consultations, REN supports development and review of policies with significant ethics content. Also, REN offers a variety of educational opportunities for different stakeholders, including front-line staff and physicians, students, Board of Directors, patients and their families.
