The Ethics Alliance for Community Service Providers (CSPs) delivers ethics support to CSPs in the HNHB LHIN. HNHB LHIN CSPs consist of approximately 90 organizations that vary in size and the focus of operation, such as mental health and addiction, acquired brain injury and assisted living. Developed based on an environmental scan of CSP needs and engagement with end-users, supports from the Ethics Alliance for CSPs includes education tailored to CSPs, access to REN education, resource development, and ethics consults. These services:
• Promote quality patient-centered care
• Build local ethics capacity
• Developing common processes and approaches to resolving ethics questions
• Creating shared ethics resources
• Providing continuous ethics support by ethicists
